There’s nothing better for an interviewer (me!) than to profile someone who is so contagiously enthusiastic about what she or he does. I’ve been lucky enough to have worked with really generous, down-to-earth experts who enjoy the process as much as I do.
On rare occasions, the PR-hustle that may come along with interviewing some celebrity and established experts can be a bit, shall we say, challenging. While endless phone calls and emails and follow-ups (and follow-ups and follow-ups) certainly make completing a profile piece satisfying, it also makes working with an accessible pro seem a breeze.
The profile I did was for Lifetime with the sweet and funny Pattie Donham Wilkinson, known as PattieWack in the wide world of crafts.
